Yelena Los was born in 1989. She graduated from the Kazan Conservatory as a pianist (class of Yevgeniy Mikhailov). Presently, she does post graduate studies at the Kazan Conservatory.
She made her first debut as a child, playing all Tchaikovsky’s Children’s Album.
She is a winner of numerous competitions, including the Young Pianists competition in Usti nad Labem (The Czech Republic), where she received 1st Prize and Grand-Prix in 1998, the Sofronitsky All-Republican Competition in 2001, The Republican Bach Competition 1st Prize (2004), the International Young Pianists Competition, where she won 1st Prize, R. Shchedrin Prize and the Young Jury Prize in Munich (2004), as well as I International Balakirev Russian Music Piano Competition 1st Prize (2004), Scriabin International Piano Contest in Grosseto (Italy, 2006) 2nd Prize, V International Rachmaninoff Young Pianists Competition 1st Prize in Tambov (Russia, 2008), II International Vera Lothar Piano Competition in Novosibirsk (2008), II International Rachmaninoff Young Pianists Competition in Frankfurt am Main 1st Prize, All Russian Music Competition 1st Prize (Moscow, 2010).
Yelena Los gave a recital at the I International Young Musical Kremlin Festival in 2007.
Yelena Los received the Ministry of Culture scholarship in 2002, three grants and a scholarship of the President of Russia. She successfully performed in Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy and in different Russian cities.
